Buy & Flow Issue #19: both projects under $5,000!

Welcome to the 21 new subscribers since the last newsletter - I hope everyone’s having a good week so far!

My curated picks this week are: 1) Simple Habit and 2) Fluxo.

1) Simple Habit: www.simplehabit.io

My first impression upon viewing the website - how gorgeous is it? I love simple, clean design, and the builders of Simple Habit nailed it.

Simple Habit is, as the name implies, a personalized habit tracker. There’s lot of white and yellow, generally pleasing colors for most people (except perpetual dark mode lovers).

It’s still very early days. Monthly revenue is ~$12 and monthly expenses are about $25. If you already work in the productivity space or have access to a list of people who would be a good target audience, this would be a great fit.

As with most tiny businesses just past the idea stage - your marketing and audience acquisition tactics would be key to success. I can see SEO being very important here too.

It doesn’t yet look like there’s an app, so that could be a first thing to work on. I imagine many users would want to check items off on their phone, as opposed to having to log in via a web browser all the time.

2) Fluxo: https://fluxo.ai

Fluxo is a Saas that provides business intelligence (BI) solutions for businesses (target market is small and medium sized businesses). They earn revenue via a subscription model. they integrate with QuickBooks and Xero, which is super important as many businesses already integrate the rest of their processes with these workflows.

This business was founded in 2020, but the founders had to step away in 2022 and so there are currently no active customers. However, since there were previous customers, there was some value provided - a new owner could double down on this proven market, improve the software offering where needed, and voila!
